Issue #05 — March 2026: 'Reset & Reconnect'

Hello, beautiful person!
If you are new here... WELCOME!
March is your invitation to pause.
Not because everything is done…
But because your mind and body need space to catch up with all you’ve been carrying.
This month, we’re focusing on resetting your nervous system and gently reconnecting with yourself—without needing hours of free time.
Because real change doesn’t come from doing more…
It comes from creating space to breathe again.

💬 Community Corner
This month, we’re holding space for a simple but powerful reflection:
What does “reset” look like for you right now?
Not the ideal version.
Not the perfect routine.
But the real, honest version of what your mind and body are asking for.
You’re invited to reply, share, or simply sit with this question.
You are not alone in this.
✨ Affirmations of the Month
Take a moment to pause…(because you KNOW Sam loves affirmations!)
Notice your breath...
and gently receive what resonates.
You don’t need to force these.
Allow the words to meet you where you are.
'I am allowed to pause without guilt'
'I do not need to carry everything at once'
'My body deserves rest, even when life feels full'
'I release what is not mine to hold'
'Small moments of rest are enough to begin again'
'I trust myself to recognise when I need support'
'I can choose calm, one breath at a time'
'I am reconnecting with myself, gently and safely'
'I am allowed to do less and still be enough'
'With each pause, I move from burnout… back toward joy
🌿 Sam’s Joy Sanctuary
A gentle glimpse into what’s been bringing me back to myself this month…
After all the preparation for the launch of our beta Foundation Course, (a whole YEAR of planning and executing!) I’ve been reminded how easy it is to stay in go mode—even when your body is asking for something different.
So this month, my focus has been simple:
Less doing… more being.
Here are a few things I’ve been intentionally returning to:
✨ Quiet Mornings
Even just a few minutes with a warm drink, no noise, no rushing—just allowing my mind to wake up slowly before I start my day's work.
✨ Stepping Outside
Fresh air, even briefly, has been my reset button. A reminder that I don’t need to go far to feel grounded (the Alberta weather is teasing us with thoughts of Spring!)
✨ Breath Before Next
Before moving to the next task, I’ve been pausing… taking one conscious breath… and choosing how I want to show up.
✨ Letting It Be Enough
Resisting the urge to fill every moment. Allowing what I’ve already created to settle… and trusting that it is enough for now.
This isn’t about doing it perfectly.
It’s about noticing what brings you back…
and permitting yourself to return to it.
Your turn…
What’s one small thing that’s been bringing you back to yourself lately
🪞 Journal Prompt
Take a quiet moment to reflect
Where in my life am I pushing through… when I actually need to pause?
And gently follow it with:
What would it look like to support myself instead of overriding myself today?
No judgment.
Just awareness.

💖 Closing Message
If you take one thing from this month, let it be this:
You don’t need to wait until you’re completely burned out to deserve rest.
You don’t need hours of free time to begin again.
And you don’t need to do everything at once.
Start small.
One breath.
One pause.
One moment of choosing yourself.
Because every small reset…
is a step back toward joy.
